Do I need a Local Drivers License?

Yes! A Temporary Local Drivers License is required to drive around the islands of St. Kitts and Nevis. To save time, you can register for a local drivers license with the Inland Revenue Department, or we will be happy to issue you one when you arrive. Permits are $25 USD for 3 months.

What is the rental age requirement?

You must be 25 years of age or older with a valid drivers license to rent a vehicle. Exceptions are made for long-term rentals from students attending Ross and medical universities on the island.

How do I get from the airport or cruise terminal to Bullseye?

Please provide us with your flight and cruise details and a customer service representative will meet you and bring you to the office.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday – Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. Saturday and Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm.

My flight is delayed past your closing time – what should I do?

Flight delays are normal in this business. If your flight is scheduled to arrive during normal business hours and gets delayed, we will wait for you! If your flight is delayed from an extended period of time, please contact us in advance (if possible) and we can arrange for your car to be left at the airport (in the case of returning customers) or to be picked up the next day (for first time customers).

Do you offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off?

Yes! We offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off to locations in Basseterre and Frigate Bay including the Airport and Cruise Terminal. Pick-up and Drop-off to Christophe Harbour, Park Hyatt, and locations on the peninsula will include a fee.

What are your prices?

Our prices vary by vehicle type, length of rental, and season. Enter your desired pickup location and date range on our main page to view available rates and pricing. We operate on a 24-hour clock, therefore if you pick up a vehicle at 12:00 noon, it is due back at 12:00 noon the day of the return.

Is there a charge for additional drivers?

Yes, additional drivers must be 25 years and older and are charged a fee of $50 USD total for the rental. They will also require a Local St. Kitts Drivers License which is an additional $25 USD

Are there any other fees or taxes?

There is a 13% VAT as well as a $1.50 USD/day Environmental Levy that is charged on top of the base price for each vehicle.

What does your insurance cover and how much does it cost?

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is $10 USD a day. This coverage carries a maximum deductible of $500 USD for Economy cars, $1000 USD on Midsize cars, and $1200 USD on SUV, Van, Truck, and Jeep rentals.
Liability Damage Waiver (LDW) is $5 USD a day. This coverage carries a maximum deductible of $550 USD.When the CDW insurance is declined; we will take a deposit of $1000 USD immediately. This amount will be immediately refunded when the vehicle is returned in the condition it was rented. Further charges will apply if the vehicle is damaged in any way on return.

What happens when I get in an accident?

All accidents must be reported to the police immediately at 911. After calling the police, please call the Bullseye office to let us know so we may assist.
The Renter (the person who signs the rental agreement) is responsible for the vehicle for the entire duration of the rental. If the vehicle is damaged during the rental, the Renter is personally responsible for the cost of repair (including loss of use) whether he or she caused the damage or not.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! We are pleased to offer a 10% discount to returning customers.

Can I take the car to Nevis?

1-2 day rentals are not allowed to take our vehicles to Nevis. Our vehicles can be taken to Nevis only for rental agreements that are 3 days and longer.

What if I leave something in the car during my rental?

All items found in the vehicle will be placed in our lost and found – please call the office and ask about your item.

Do you allow smoking in your vehicles?

Smoking is not allowed in any of our vehicles at any time and is an additional cleaning fee of $250 USD.

Can you leave the car at the airport for me?

Vehicles will be left at the airport for returning customers who pay in advance for their car rental. Please contact us to arrange for this service.

Does Bullseye offer long-term rentals?

Yes! Please contact our office via email and phone to inquire about long-term student-class and tourist-class vehicle rentals

Should I take the insurance?

The Renter (the person who signs the rental agreement) is responsible for the vehicle for the entire duration of the rental. If the vehicle is damaged during the rental, the Renter is personally responsible for the cost of repair (including loss of use) whether he or she caused the damage or not.

It is important to note that Insurance is optional and that some credit card companies cover Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) however we strongly recommend taking the insurance. When insurance is declined and an accident occurs, the renters credit card will be charged for all repairs and loss of use of the vehicle

When you take the CDW insurance, you will be charged $10.00 a day and will only pay a maximum up to the deductible of $500 USD for Economy cars; $800 USD on Midsize cars; $1000 USD on Midsize SUV’s’ $1200 USD on 7 Seater Vans, Trucks, and Rugged Wranglers; and $1500 on Premium Wranglers and 8 Seater Vans.

When CDW insurance is declined, we will take a deposit of $1000 USD immediately. This amount will be refunded when the vehicle is returned in the condition it was rented. Further charges will apply if the vehicle is damaged in any way on return.

Third party coverage (LDW) is charged at a rate of $5.00 per day. This coverage carries a maximum deductible of $550.000
